Constructed in 1956, the venue hosted events for the Nebraska State Fair. Until 1994, The facility was transformed into a hockey arena to welcome the Lincoln Stars to the community. The Ice Box, featuring an NHL-sized sheet of ice. The intimate atmosphere, accommodates over 4,000 people for concerts and ice hockey, with large dual level club seating area. Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, walking distance from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and the historic Haymarket District. The current home of the USHL's Lincoln Stars hockey team. While Growing into an event space, hosting concerts, combat sports, roller derby, and much more. Our goal is to become a mid-sized, full service, multi-purpose venue.
